Announcements of upcoming training events

If you live in the San Francisco Bay Area, why not come out and join an AR training group? There is no cost to participate, and people of various skill levels, experience and ambitions participate on a regular basis. Training sessions include:

• Weekday kayak sessions in San Mateo - all gear is provided free of charge for first five sessions
• Weekend ocean paddles and surf entry practice
• Kayak certification classes in conjunction with Aquan Sports (Aquan charges a modest fee for class; about 1/2 of typical rates)
• Weekend ropes sessions - rappelling and ascending in the bay area.
• Weekday and weekend runs and rides (mountain bike and road rides)
• Weekend hikes (fast paced outings in amazing settings)
• Extended training sessions, including overnight session. Fitness is a must, but no experience required.
