More about me

Before i was doing AR, i was...
A motocross racer for over 15 years at the semi pro level. I also road/raced mountain bikes back east. I currently race triathlons and sprint adventure races. I completed a full Ironman triathlon this past summer.

Why I adventure race?
To see the outdoors and compete at the same time. AR provides an unique opportunity to see amazing scenery and be challenged by the best nature has to offer. I enjoy the team aspect of the race, i found myself getting bored on long triathlons.

Best Mountain Bike location?
Back east i rode all the time at Wissahickon park, some of the best single track you will ever find, even better in the snow!!! Locally i enjoy Skeggs for single track.

My favorite trail for running?
Along the bay from Aquatic park to Baker's beach and up the infamous sand ladder, the views are incredible!!

Favorite Food when I am racing?
Anything that does not make me sick!! I find Snickers bars to always be a good backup!!

What's in my water bottle during races?
Cytomax, Hammergel sustained energy.
